Renungan Pagi – What does Company Hire You to Do?


Pagi ini aku mendapat sebuah e-mail yang isinya sangat menohok. Silahkan direnungi sendiri apakah Anda memposisikan diri Anda sebagai pemilik perusahaan, sebagai leader dari sebuah tim, ataukah sebagai karyawan sebuah perusahaan. Isi tulisan ini mungkin saja seringkali kita dengar/baca dari leader-leader maupun trainer-trainer atau apapun lah itu yang berbau motivator. Buatku sendiri, tulisan ini menambah wawasan how to manage people and how to being a people manager. Kenapa aku sebut people manager? karena sebagai Human Resource Department, aku memiliki tanggung jawab untuk mengelola karyawan.

Tulisan ini membuat aku merefleksikan diri sendiri dan organisasi tempat aku bekerja sekarang. Apakah aku sudah cukup bijak sebagai orang tengah di orgnisasi? Apakah aku sudah cukup tegas? Apakah aku sudah cukup disiplin? Well, yah pertanyaan-pertanyaan semacam itu. Belum lagi insight-insight yang muncul seperti karyawan itu seperti wanita yang selalu ingin dimengerti, tapi kadang mereka tidak bisa mencoba menyelami perusahaan mereka sendiri untuk lebih dapat memahami perusahaannya. Perusahaan itu ada baiknya juga menganggap karyawan adalah customer mereka yang harus selalu dilayani, begitu juga sebaliknya.

Penulisnya sendiri adalah seorang pengusaha China yang membangun website online shop alibaba.com. Tulisannya ini banyak di kutip oleh para blogger di China. Tulisan ini juga banyak menginspirasi para pengusaha di China. Tulisan ini menggunakan Bahasa Mandarin yang tidak biasa, kalau di Indonesia mungkin sekelas dengan Bahasa peribahasa. Namun, ada beberapa kalimat yang terkesan simple tapi artinya berat juga.

(What does Company hire you to do?)

请你来是解决问题而不是制造问题

(Hire you to SOLVE problem and NOT to CREATE problem)

如果你不能发现问题或解决不料问题,你本人就是一个问题

(If you cannot find the problem or solve the problem, then you are part of the problem)

你能解决多大的问题,你就坐多高的位子

(The bigger the matter you can solve, the higher a position you can achieve)

你能解决多少问题,你就能拿多少薪水

(How many problems you can solve, determines the level of your salary)

让解决问题的人高升,让制造问题的人让位,让抱怨问题的人下课

(Let those who solve problems rise, let those create problem give way, let those who complain be terminated)

问题就是你的机会

(Problem is your opportunity)

1、公司的问题:就是你改善的机会;

(Company prob: Is your opportunity to improve)

2、客户的问题:就是你提供服务的机会;

(Customer prob: Is your opportunity to service)

3、自己的问题:就是你成长的机会;

(Own prob: Is your opportunity to grow)

4、同事的问题:就是你提供支持建立合作机会;

(Colleagues prob: Is your opportunity to provide support and to establishe cooperation)

5、领导的问题:就是你积极解决获得信任的机会;

(Leadership Prob: Is your opportunity to provide solution and to gain trust)

6、竞争对手的问题:就是你变强的机会;

(Competition prob: Is your opportunity to become strongger/better)

不要易离你要从零做起

(Do not easily leave the Team, or you will have to start from ZERO again)

1、不要老想着做不顺就放弃,哪个团队都有问题,哪个团队都有优点;

(Do not easily think of giving up when ecountering an obsticle, every team has its own problems and its own merit)

2、跟对领导很重要,愿意教你的,放手让你做的领导,绝对要珍惜;

(Following a correct leader is important, cherish those leaders who teaches you and letting you have independence)

3、团队的问题就是你脱颖而出的机会,抱怨和埋怨团队就是打自己耳光,说自己无能,更是在放弃机会;

(Problems for the team is your chance to perform, complaining and blaming your team is like hitting your own ear, saying your are not capable is like giving up your chance)

4、心怀感恩之心,感谢系统给你平台,感谢伙伴给你配合;

(Have a thankful heart, giving thanks to systems for the stage, giving thanks for your partners’ cooperation)

5、创造利润是你存在的核心价值,创业不是做慈善;

(Creating profit is at the core of your being/existance, entrepreneurship is not for charity)

6、遇到问题请先思考,只反映问题是初级水平,思考并解决问题才是高级水平; (When encountering a problem do think first, when only reflecting a problem, it is a novice level, thinking and solving problem is advance level)

(Who enjoy the final success?)

第一:能始终跟着团队一起成长的人;

(Those people who grows with the team)

第二:对团队的前景始终看好的人;

(Those who feel excited at the prospect for the team)

第三:在团队不断的探索中能找到自己位置的人;

(Those who can continuously find their own position in the team)

第四:为了团队新的目标不断学习新东西的人;

(Those who along with new targets can continuously improve and learn new things)

第五:抗压能力强且有耐性的人;

(Those who can stand pressure have patient)

第六:与团队同心同德、同舟共济、同甘共苦的人;

(Those who share common goals with the team, help each other and share weal and woe)

第七:不计较个人得失,顾全大局的人;

(Those who don’t fuss about personal gain and take care of the bigger picture)

第八:雄心博大,德才兼备,有奉献的人;

(Those who have big heart, ability, high moral, and can contribute)

只为成功找方法,不为失败找借口

(Only finding ways to succeed and not finding excuses for failures)

你若不想做,总会找到借口;

(If you do not want to do it, you will always find excuses)

你若真想做,总会找到方法;

对领导而言他就格要求他!

(For Leaders: If you love them, be strict with them)

 

1、对你有严格要求的领导,才是能真正帮助你成长的好领导,使我痛苦者,必使我强大;

(Leaders who are strict and have high demads for you, are truly good leaders who want to help you grow. Those who make me suffer will make me stronger)

2、任何强大公司都不会给下属安全感,用最残忍方式激发每个人变得强大,自强不息;

(No matter how big a company is, they will not give the subordinate a sense of security/safety, only by using the cruelest way in order to inspire everyone to become stronger and more energetic)

3、凡是想办法给下属安全感的公司都会毁灭的,因为再强大的人,在温顺的环境中都会失去狼性;

(Those company who let the subordinate have a sense of security/safety will bound to fail, because no matter how capable a person is, in a warm and meak environment, will loses his aggresiveness)

4、凡是想方设法逼出员工能力,开发员工潜力的公司都会升腾不息,因为在这种环境下,要么变成狼,要么被狼吃掉;

(For all things, it is better to force the limit of the employee; companies that can tap the potential of the employees will grow. In this competitive environment, either becomes the wolf or being eaten by the wolf)

5、最不给员工安全感的公司,其实给了真正的安全感,因为逼出了他们的强大,逼出了他们的成长,也因此他们有了未来;

(For those companies that do not give sense of security/safety, is actually giving them the most security/safety because this will force them to become stronger, forcing them to grow thus giving them a future)

6、如果真的爱你的下属,就考核他,要求他,高要求,高目标,高标准,逼迫他成长;

(If you really love your subordinate, then assess them, demand high from them, high target and high standard, force them to grow)

7、如果你碍于情面,低目标,低要求,低标准养了一群小绵羊、老油条,小白兔。这是对下属最大的不负责任! 因为这只会助长他们的任性、嫉妒和懒惰;

(If you are afraid of hurting their feelings, give them low target, low demand, low standard will only keep sheeps, rabbits. This is the most irresponsible thing to a subordinate. This will only grow their willfulness, sense of envy and laziness)

让你的下属因为你而成长,拥有正确的人生观,价值观,并具备了完善的品行

(Let your subordinate grow with you, equip them with the right outlook of life, correct values and a sound character)
让员工不断的成长,就是领导对下属最伟大的爱

(Let your subordinate grow continuously, is the leaders greatest love to the subordinate)
